Georgia WIC

The Georgia WIC Program provides no-cost nutrition support for pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children under age five. This includes monthly food benefits, breastfeeding support, nutrition education, and referrals to health and community resources.

Some key highlights of WIC:

  • Monthly food benefits through the eWIC card to buy healthy foods such as milk, eggs, bread, juice, peanut butter, infant formula, and more
  • Nutrition and breastfeeding support from certified experts
  • Referrals to health care and community resources
  • Multilingual staff to serve diverse families

Please help spread the word about WIC to the families you serve—especially grandparents raising grandchildren, as well as pregnant women and families with young children—so that more children can have access to the nutrition they need for a healthy start in life.
